Built By People Who Love Play
Long before Cubetown existed, this venue was home to Mystic Clue — one of Perth’s pioneering escape room businesses. After more than a decade of creating immersive adventures, we started experimenting with something new: active challenge rooms where players could move, react, think and compete together.
Originally designed as a fun little add-on experience, we were surprised when guests started returning just to play the “Cubetown” part again. After experimenting with our first fully-featured active gaming venue in Melbourne, we grew the confidence to transform the business into Cubetown.
The passion project soon took a life of its own. One partner joined during the rebuild and now stays up late creating all of our games and software in-house. Another loved the experience so much on opening night (as our very first customer) that he joined the business too, and is now focused on growing our community and finding the next chapter of the Cubetown story.
Today, Cubetown Perth is the largest expression of everything we’ve learned so far — built by people who genuinely love play.

BOOK NOWAccessibility AND Sensory Information
Everybody experiences play differently, and that’s okay.
Cubetown Perth combines movement, lights, sounds and interactive technology to create an immersive experience. While some games are fast-paced and energetic, others focus more on memory, coordination and problem-solving – we even have slower-paced sensory light experiences designed simply to be enjoyed.
Please wear suitable shoes and comfortable clothes. In your session, you’ll be able to enjoy playing at your own pace, take breaks when needed and choose the games that best suit your team’s preferred pace.
If you have accessibility requirements, sensory considerations, or would simply like to know more before your visit, we’d love to help. Get in touch with our team before your session and we’ll do our best to answer any questions.
faq
How many people may play together?
We accept bookings of up to 6 players per session. Larger groups can book consecutive sessions (which may involve a short wait to get started) or explore our party and group packages.
Because our challenge rooms are designed for up to 6 players at a time, larger groups will be split between different games or rooms to keep the action going – many groups actually enjoy this, as it creates opportunities for friendly competition, different team combinations and plenty of stories to compare afterwards. You’ll still be part of the same session and can regroup throughout your visit as you move between challenges.
Will I be able to play every arena?
Yes. During your session, you’ll have time to explore all of our arenas and play several games in each one.
To make the experience flow smoothly, larger groups may occasionally be split between rooms while exploring different challenges. This helps everyone spend more time playing and less time waiting, while still giving your group the chance to experience everything Cubetown Perth has to offer.
Is Cubetown Perth suitable for adults?
Absolutely. Cubetown Perth was designed by adults who are still kids at heart.
Is Cubetown Perth suitable for kids?
Yes. Cubetown is recommended for ages 6 and over (although kids aged 5 and under are welcome to join for free with a paying adult). Many of our most competitive players are families who love working together or challenging each other across our different games.
Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by a supervising paying adult at all times, while children aged 9–12 must have an accompanying adult at the venue.
Do I need to be fit to play?
Not at all. One of the things we love most about Cubetown is that people can play at their own pace. Some groups like to leave it all out there, while others focus on teamwork, problem-solving or simply having fun together.
What should I wear?
Comfortable clothing and enclosed shoes are recommended. You’ll be moving, reacting and exploring throughout your session.
