Why Family Time Matters
Cubetown is made for families who want to do more than watch from the sidelines.
Modern family time can easily become everyone sitting in the same room on different screens. That has its place, but we wanted to turn screen time into play time – an indoor activity where families actually do something together.
At Cubetown, the best moments happen when parents get competitive, kids take charge, siblings team up, or the whole family starts laughing because the plan completely fell apart.
Whether you’re planning a weekend activity, school holiday outing, birthday celebration or just need to help the kids burn some energy, Cubetown turns movement into play.

Why Cubetown
Works For Families
Cubetown combines little pieces of some of our favourite experiences that you may be familiar with: the teamwork of an escape room, the freedom of an arcade and the active challenge of sport. However, you’re not locked in a room, you don’t need to be athletic and you definitely don’t just stand at a screen.
Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and enclosed shoes, because we think you’re going to need them.
During a Cubetown session, you’ll move between different arenas, each offering a unique mix of physical, mental and sensory games for you to choose from. The games are all around 2-3 minutes each, so you’ll have enough time to play a few per challenge room.
The best part – you choose how you play, with different difficulties and game modes that you can switch between:

As A Family
Every family is different, so every Cubetown session can feel a little different too.
- Want to work together? Choose cooperative games and chase a family high score.
- Want to settle a sibling rivalry? Split into teams and compete for bragging rights.
- Want to slow things down? Try memory games, photo modes or sensory light experiences.
With 20+ games and 50+ ways to play, families can dial the energy up or down depending on the day, the group and everyone’s mood.
Before You Visit
Cubetown is more active than many families expect.
We will get you running, jumping, throwing, climbing, dodging,
reaching and reacting quickly, so comfortable clothes and enclosed
shoes are strongly recommended.
Cubetown is built mainly for ages 6 and over, although younger children may be able to join with assistance from a paying adult. Children aged 8 and under must be accompanied by a supervising paying adult at all times, while children aged 9-14 must have an accompanying adult at the venue.
If your family has accessibility requirements, sensory considerations, neurodivergent guests or younger players who may need support, contact us before visiting. We’re happy to help you understand what to expect.
